Typedia. Typedia is a shared encyclopedia of typefaces to classify, categorize, and connect typefaces, and to educate people about them. Anyone can join, add, and edit pages for typefaces or for the people behind the type.
Butterick’s Practical Typography. This online book on practical typography is by Matthew Butterick, a typographer, lawyer, writer, and computer programmer. Learn why typography matters, and get recommendations on fonts and layouts, along with before-and-after examples of common document types.
Fontology. From Fonts.com, Fontology is a typography course that’s structured as a workbook. It’s divided into four levels and includes a collection of course assets for design educators, a self-education tool for students, and a reference source for professional graphic designers.

Typographica. Founded in 2002, Typographica is a review of typefaces and type books, with occasional commentary on fonts and typographic design.
The Type Worship. The Type Worship blog was created by Jamie Clarke in 2011. It started as a personal research aid, a place to collect inspirational type and lettering together with notes and commentary. The Type Worship is now one of the largest type and lettering blogs, with a following of over 230,000 type enthusiasts. It features inspirational typography, beautiful lettering, reviews, and interviews with leading designers.
I Love Typography. I Love Typography is a blog from John Boardley on typography, type design, lettering, and the pages, words, and letters from those disciplines. TypeDrawers. TypeDrawers is discussion forum for professionals and enthusiasts in the fields of typeface design, lettering, and typography. Browse discussions on type design technique and technology, type releases, and the history of typography.
Typography.Guru. Launched in 2015, Typography.Guru is an international online community around the fields of typography, lettering, and calligraphy. It’s a place to discuss, learn, and share your own content and knowledge. Almost all sections of the site are open for user submissions.
Fonts In Use. Fonts In Use is a public archive of typography indexed by typeface, format, and industry. It documents and examines graphic design with the goal of improving typographic literacy and appreciation. It also has a blog that reviews current and historic typography.

Incredible Types. Incredible Types is a curated collection and showcase of outstanding typography and design from around the world. It contains 426 pieces of inspirational design from 432 creatives and studios in 51 different countries.
Friends of Type. Friends of Type is an inspirational site primarily from the work of four contributors. Posts are meant to log and express ideas, and inspire readers. In the last week of every month, it features a guest designer. The site is a sketchbook, an archive, and a dialogue.
FontReach. FontReach is a tool to find examples of fonts in use. FontReach scans the top million sites to show font usage across the web. Search for a font, or view site count of top fonts in use.

Type Zebra. Type Zebra is a tool to test all the fonts on your system.
WhatTheFont. WhatTheFont is a tool from MyFonts.com to identify unknown fonts. Submit an image to WhatTheFont to find the closest matches in its database. Or let font enthusiasts lend a hand in the WhatTheFont Forum.
Font Matcherator. Font Matcherator from Fontspring is another tool to identify unknown fonts. Simply upload an image or use an image URL. The Matcherator can match OpenType features and has a tag refinement feature to drill down on results.
