20 percent increase in the demand of tech jobs in Singapore, report reveals – Market Report Gazette


According to the latest Salary Benchmark 2019 report by Michael Page, a recruiting company, in Singapore, the demand for tech-related jobs increased by 20 percent in the past twelve months.

It was noted by the report that in Singapore there is a high demand for digital marketing, specialized e-commerce, and data science talent, however, there are lack for individuals pursuing these fields, with firms in the outlook for leaders who have the capacity of driving the digital strategy while keeping in mind the technology disruptors.

The reports underscored that the in the technology sector, the most highly paid roles were inclusive of a Chief Technology officer, who is given on average a monthly salary of S22,000 dollars, followed by a head of IT security or an Information Technology director who is paid an average of S18,000 dollars.
