One in four shoppers would rather have a root canal than undergo a Black Friday line.
Millennials probably comprise a good percentage of that number, which makes it no surprise that Cyber Monday is much more appealing. Peruse excellent deals online whilst pretending to be back at work after Thanksgiving break? Yes please, thanks.
Here are ten deals Millennials will appreciate this year:
1. Mystery deals on Feastly
In case you’ve yet to hear of it, Feastly is like Airbnb meets Top Chef. Instead of going to a restaurant, you go to a chef’s home, where for a fraction of the normal cost, they cook you and several others an interesting meal and tell you stories about the meal’s origins. 2. A cheap Caribbean vacation
In a variation of the 12 days of Christmas, CheapCaribbean.com is rolling out a different ultra-discounted vacation every day for 12 consecutive days, starting Cyber Monday.
We’re talking deep discounts–for example, a 5-night stay at an all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana, including airfare, is normally $1,349. Cyber Monday makes it $519.
3. Recording that Caribbean destination on this cool map
A lot is made of how Millennials value experiences over things. However, it’s not that Millennials don’t value things at all–it’s that they don’t value materialistic things that have no value outside their brand name(s).
High-value, meaningful things are still worth spending money on no matter what age you are–like this awesome map. If half the fun of traveling is the experience, and the other half is reflecting on it, then this is the perfect thing to come home to. You can physically fill in which countries you’ve been to in different colors (pat yourself on the back for making that African safari happen), then see what’s left. If you’re into music, this is probably the best deal on Amazon this Cyber Monday. There’s nothing more annoying than trying to play music at a bachelorette party or anywhere else, and struggling to hear the tinny sound of music played out of a phone’s speakers (even if it has been ever-so-cleverly dropped in a cup or a bowl to amplify the sound).
The Ultimate Ears BOOM 2 Panther Holiday Edition Wireless Mobile Bluetooth Speaker is a mouthful, but a worthy one. Not only is it a sweet, 360-degree speaker that drops immersive beats in every direction, but it’s both waterproof and shockproof, making it resistant to any drink spilled on it (probably try to avoid doing that).

5. Gorgeous, hand-made leggings
I’ve been coveting the stunning, hand-made yoga pants/leggings at GearBunch for a while now. Not only are they intricate and creative, but the company is woman-owned, and all their leggings are hand-cut and -sewn in the U.S. (It’s worth checking out their 50-second video on how they do it.) In fact, since they do everything in house, they’ll even make custom leggings for you. Send them a design idea and if they like it, they’ll have their designers custom-make your print.
The leggings I’ve been stalking are normally $87, which is a little rich for my blood. It’s like Cards Against Humanity meets a meme generator–you put up a meme image on a stand, and then everyone puts down the phrase they think matches that meme the best. I’ve played it with friends and can attest to the hilarity that ensued.

8. An Atlantic City vacay
