Marketing focus of next learning series installment | Local News

Next up in the four-part Putnam-Montgomery Nonprofit Learning Series is the 2020 Nonprofit Marketing Toolkit. It takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 9 at the Crawfordsville Country Club. Michael Reynolds, co-founder of Impactfully, is the presenter.

Marketing and technology change at a rapid pace and it is not easy to stay ahead (or even close to) the trends in social media, search engine optimization and tools available. How do I get my non-profit website found on Google? How do I communicate my mission? How do I build a community of supporters? We’ll spend some time together discussing the top marketing trends of 2019 going into 2020, and then we’ll dive into the specific tactics that you can start implementing in your non-profit. Finally, we will wrap up with an open-format Q&A to discuss your ideas and challenges so you have actionable next steps toward improving the marketing and outreach in your non-profit.

To register for the workshop, one may stop in the MCCF office at

119 E. Main St. or go to www.mccf-in.org. The fee is $20 with lunch included. Advance registration is recommended; registration at the door will be accepted as space allows. The registration form is under Grants/Nonprofit Resources and online payment may be made through the Donate Now button; direct payment to the NPLS Workshops Fund.

In addition to our partnership with Putnam County Community Foundation, we are grateful for the local sponsorship provided by Hoosier Heartland State Bank.
