A second phase of the workshop on “Digital Media: importance and the efficient management” was held for Public Relations staff of the Judiciary, the Georgian Bar Association and the Office of the Independent Inspector on 23-24 March.
The activity was a follow up to the training organised in November 2018 involving the same participants of the above-mentioned institutions. The second phase of the workshop was built on a three months’ assessment report prepared by the Council of Europe consultants. The assessment report presented lessons learned and progress in social media platforms. In addition, the workshop focused on search engine optimization systems and GOOGLE products supporting data gathering.
The activity aimed at enhancing the capacity of PR personnel on digital media and supporting the implementation of the Communication Strategy of the Judiciary resulting in more efficient communication with public and better transparency.
The workshop was organised by the Council of Europe project “Support to the Judicial Reform in Georgia” funded by the voluntary contributions of Bulgaria, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, the Slovak Republic, and Sweden to support the implementation of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Georgia 2016-2019.
