The Tesla Model X is a great looking car. However, I’ve always felt the shiny chrome trims didn’t go with the high-tech look, and decided to “de-chrome” it. The local Tesla mod shops wanted over $1000 to cover the chrome with vinyl wrap. I thought that was way too expensive for a few strips of vinyl, and came up with another solution. Instead of paying $1K+ to have a shop vinyl wrap the chrome, we DIY it with $20 of Plasti Dip. Watch the video to see how we did it. The mod came out great!
