Oh Yeon Seo and Ahn Jae Hyun may unite for MBC’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “People With Flaws” (literal title).
On April 18, a source from the drama industry stated, “Oh Yeon Seo and Ahn Jae Hyun will be working together as the leads in ‘People With Flaws.’ It has been reported that both parties are positively discussing [the drama].”
“People With Flaws” is a romantic comedy that will tell the story about a woman who despises flower boys and a man who is obsessed with good looks as they overcome prejudice against people with flaws.
Oh Yeon Seo’s agency Celltrion Entertainment responded, “[Oh Yeon Seo is] positively reviewing [the drama], but she has yet to confirm her appearance. We still need to review some details.” The agency continued, “When Oh Yeon Seo returns from her photo shoot in Phuket, Thailand on April 19, she plans to make final adjustments with the production team.”
A source from HB Entertainment said, “Ahn Jae Hyun received an offer for ‘People With Flaws’ and is positively reviewing [the offer].”
Oh Yeon Seo has received the offer to take on the role of Joo Seo Yeon, a high school track coach. Growing up with three good-looking brothers, Joo Seo Yeon’s ideal type is a guy who is not good looking.
On the other hand, Ahn Jae Hyun is in talks for the role of Lee Kang Woo, a man who believes that the world centers around him and enjoys getting other people’s attention. He became obsessed with how he looks on the outside after getting dumped for being ugly in the past.
Directed by Oh Jin Seok of “Yong Pal” and “My Sassy Girl,” “People With Flaws” is set to premiere sometime in September.
