Bold Retail Inc., an e-commerce strategy firm based in Rogers, has expanded its Walmart.com services and team.
According to the company, the new Walmart.com and Walmart Online Grocery Pickup (OGP) services allow brands of all sizes to quickly and easily scale their e-commerce at the world’s largest retailer.
“We’ve built a playbook that’s been delivering triple-digit growth for our clients on other marketplaces and on their own DTC [direct-to-consumer] sites,” Bold Retail President Allan Peretz said in a statement. “These clients have been asking us to help them at Walmart. We’ve answered the call.”
The new Walmart offering had been in pilot testing until recently. Peretz said unlike other Walmart-only service providers, Bold combines Amazon and Walmart data to get a more comprehensive view of the market and competition including search engine optimization (SEO), reseller and pricing activity.
The company has also made several strategic hires in recent months including the addition of Horacio Trevino as chief operating officer. Trevino previously was the marketing lead for Procter & Gamble’s $9 billion Walmart business.
“Good strategies will only take you so far at Walmart if you don’t have the right people on the ground,” Peretz said.
Peretz and his wife, Lisa, founded Bold Retail in 2016 and are the primary shareholders of the company, which has nine full-time employees plus a number of advisers and freelancers.
