Digital Marketing Manager – Matterport


Matterport is a 3D immersive media SaaS company that makes it easy for anyone to quickly and inexpensively create a digital 3D model of any physical space. Our 3D immersive media platform is used across many industries to improve how people make decisions about properties. We are the world leader in the category we invented, having built digital models of over 1.5 million properties so far!

Starting with residential real estate, where 8% of all homes sold in the US last year had a Matterport 3D tour, the company has changed how people experience physical spaces. Our product offering is selling exponentially in new markets like apartment and vacation rentals, hotels, event venues, insurance, retail environments, as well as architecture, engineering, and construction.

We have an end-to-end system for crafting, experiencing, and changing cloud-based immersive 3D models of real spaces. Our product suite improves the way people experience and visualize physical spaces making it incredibly fun and practical for users to move through real world spaces as if they were there.

With funding from a group of stellar VCs and investors, we are changing the way we all see the world!

The Role

The successful candidate will have a strong analytical and data-driven marketing background, experience working with large data sets and the ability to spot trends in sales & marketing data which may not be immediately obvious. Matterport is a fast-moving environment, so you must be flexible in your approach to work and not averse to change and ambiguity. The role requires responsibility for results around all digital campaigns, web site traffic, and sales so you will have ambition and determination to hit wide-ranging KPIs.

As this role is multi-dimensional, we expect the candidate to be self-motivated, hands-on and eager to develop themselves and the role within the growing worldwide marketing team. We expect the person we hire to be full of ideas and embrace challenges.

Reporting to the CMO, you will have a digital marketing background with a strong understanding and experience of increasing organic and paid reach in marketing campaigns to optimize conversion.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage Paid Social campaigns across search engine partners.
  • Work with the Global marketing team to further develop a paid media strategy and activity plan that drives acquisition growth across multiple product lines in line with budgets and return on investment targets.
  • Build and manage Advertising campaigns across partners and ad-buying agencies.
  • Analyze and optimize activity on a continual basis to meet or exceed business KPIs.
  • Be responsible for weekly reporting and analysis to business stakeholders.
  • Own and develop a robust cross-channel A/B testing strategy to maximize performance
  • Implement and refine search engine optimization techniques to improve rankings and local search engine marketing campaigns
  • Monitor all online local traffic and sales. Manage conversion rate optimization from MQLs to C/W
  • Carefully measure results through web and marketing analytics tools

Qualifications

  • Experience with Google Analytics and similar web analytics tools
  • Extensive search/PPC experience
  • Extensive experience building and optimizing web and mobile experiences with a strong focus on conversion to sales 
  • Eye for usability in the presentation of visual and written content
  • Passion to improve skills in web development and international marketing
  • Deep understanding of programmatic media buying and display marketing
  • Experience with paid social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter
  • Strong analytical background and ability to critically analyze and leverage performance data to measure and optimize digital campaign performance
  • Thorough understanding of marketing automation and CRM systems (Salesforce.com, Pardot, Marketo preferred)
  • Experience with strategy development to drive relevant traffic to the company’s web properties and mobile apps 
  • Skilled in audience segmentation and accurate persona targetingExtensive search/PPC experience
