Qualification Summary
To qualify at GS-12, youmust have at leastone year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service. Successful candidates for this position will have: knowledge of usability concepts and best practices; knowledge of electronic web publishing methods and content management; advanced knowledge of website analytics and deriving actionable results; knowledge of optimizing existing websites; experience evaluating website and application accessibility compliance (508/WCAG 2.0) and recommending solutions; and experience using data analytics for search engine optimization (SEO).
To qualify at GS-13, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal Service. Successful candidates for this position will have: advanced knowledge of usability concepts and best practices; knowledge of electronic web publishing methods and content management; expert knowledge of website analytics and deriving actionable results; knowledge of optimizing existing websites; advanced experience evaluating website and application accessibility compliance (508/WCAG 2.0) and recommending solutions; and experience using data analytics for search engine optimization (SEO); and strong communication and collaborative skills.
In addition to meeting thespecialized experiencedescribed above, all candidates must meet the following selective factor. Candidates who do not showthat they meet the selective factor will no longer receive consideration for the position
SELECTIVE FACTOR: Applicants must posses a Google Analytics Certification or 2 years experience using Google Analytics for website usability purposes.
In addition to the specialized experience and selective factorstated above, applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the following four competencies: Attention to Detail – Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
