1 min pitch for what you are doing now?
ID-Pal enables businesses to verify the identity of their customers in a simple, secure and convenient manner. Using advanced mobile technologies, ID-Pal reduces the cost and risk associated with customer onboarding whilst removing friction from the user experience. It’s easier, faster, more cost-effective and more reliable than either manual processing or building a custom solution.
How was the last year, what worked well, what didn’t move as quickly as you would have liked?
ID-Pal had an extraordinary year last year, we doubled the team size, quadrupled our client base and had our app used in 26 different countries. The one disappointing thing from 2018 was the market uptake around GDPR from a Customer On-boarding solution perspective.
What are your plans for the future?
We are in a large growth period right now, entering new markets via partners channels is a key strategy over the coming year.

Regulation and Regulatory change is a large part of ID-Pal’s business, it’s important to stay connected to both market trends and the thoughts of industry experts.

It would be great to reference some clients and jurisdictions that ID-Pal works in. Our HQ in Dublin with some household names like AIB Merchant Services, Elavon & Fenergo using ID-Pal for Identity Verification, however our largest client base is in the United States via our Partners Corporate One (1’000 Credit Unions across 44 states). We have also partnerships with global giants like Temenos & Salesforce.
