Pixel 4 ultimate leak reveals design, colours and incredible new Google features

Google Pixel 4 is set to be one of the biggest smartphone launches during the rest of 2019.

The Mountain View firm are expected to reveal their next Pixel device during a major event in October, as they have done for previous Pixel phones.

The Pixel 4 hasn’t been subject to as many leaks as the Pixel 3, but fans do have a good idea of what to expect from Google’s next flagship.

This is largely due to Google officially revealing a few tidbits of information early.

In June Google revealed the first official photo of the Pixel 4, which showed the back of the device and a space for potentially three rear cameras.

While in July the search engine giant announced the Radar technology for the Pixel 4, which enables gesture controls for the device.

And now as the official unveiling draws near a flurry of leaks about the device have emerged.

The first leak revealed that the Pixel 4 will come with 6GB worth of RAM as well as an eight times zoom.

The Pixel 4 is also expected to boast Night Sight improvements and a brand new Motion Mode.

Not long after this emerged, another leak was revealed which outlined the different colours the Pixel 4 will be coming in.

The Pixel 4 looks set to come in three different colour schemes – black, white and coral.

And, unlike previous Pixel devices, the rear of these phones will not feature a two-tone colour scheme – just one continuous finish.

This leak also showed the Pixel 4 will be boasting three rear cameras and a sensor which is all housed in a square encasing.

Whichever colour scheme users choose, the front side of the Pixel 4 will be black.

And the final leak was a promo video for the Pixel 4 which showcased a number of the features coming to the Android device.

These features were the hands-free gestures along with the Motion and Astrophotography modes.

The latter is a dedicated mode for taking pictures of the night sky.

All of these leaks were reported on in posts by 9to5Google.

A launch event for the Pixel 4 hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s expected to take place in October.

That is when other flagship Pixel devices have been revealed during the past few years, with the Pixel 3 revealed on October 9 2018.

It went on sale in the US just over a week later and then in other parts of the world, including the UK, at the start of November.
