Understanding The Business Blueprint – PAGEONE

Santé, a provider of premier organic health and wellness products and services, held its Annual Business Conference (ABC) as part of its Engage training series for Santé Business Owners, recently at the Bayanihan Center in Pasig City.

Gathering more than 600 entrepreneurs from across the country, the 2019 Santé’s ABC: The Business Blueprint aims to provide a venue for Santé Business Owners to learn new concepts and trends in entrepreneurship.

“We’re glad to, once again, hold this annual business conference. This year, we invited a dynamic set of resource speakers, who shared with us their experiences and expertise, which can help our Santé Business Owners in becoming successful entrepreneurs,” said Joey Marcelo, chief executive officer (CEO) of Santé.

Marcelo added that the conference also focused not just in helping the attendees gain a strong foundation in stating their business but also, in learning the ways to sustain it by understanding the latest trends in entrepreneurship, its digital component, and getting started in allocating funds for investments.

Among the resource speakers present in the event was Marvin Germo, the president of Stock Smarts, Inc., a stock market trader, analyst, and investor with more than 12 years of experience in the Philippine financial industry.

“It’s also good to know that businesses, like Santé, invest in their people by giving opportunities to learn in managing even personal finances. It shows how the company values them because the more they get equipped with this knowledge, the better they will be in their businesses as well,” said Germo.

Sean Si, founder and the editor-in-chief of the search engine optimization and internet marketing company SEO Hacker, could not agree more. Acknowledging the young entrepreneurs present in the event and as someone who started his own company at a young age, Si noted that Santé’s ABC has also provided an excellent venue for millennial entrepreneurs to become aware of business trends.

Aside from Si, Carlo Ople, the vice president for Digital Strategy and Consumer Disruptive Business of PLDT/Smart, also shared his expertise in digital entrepreneurship. As a digital entrepreneur, he founded several web properties, including the Unbox.ph, one of the top technology and gadget sites in the country.

Other presenters during the conference include Arnold Anog, a training consultant and a success and wealth coach, who tackled about reaching one’s peak performance; Jayson Lo, a best-selling author and entrepreneur, who shared his experience with companies in various industries, such as direct selling, manufacturing, trading, and the restaurant business; and Ron Galura, regional sales head of Alveo Land, Corp., who discussed the advantages of investing in real estate.

Raissa Laurel-Subijano, a law graduate and a City Councilor of San Juan, Metro Manila, also graced the event with her talk about her #RaisUp campaign, which focuses on inspiring people to rise amid trials and challenges.

Laurel-Subijano lost her legs in the infamous bar exam blast along Taft Avenue in 2010. Since then, she has touched the lives of countless people through her positive outlook and determination.

“Santé’s ABC has always been about empowering our business owners by imparting knowledge that they can turn into abilities. As a progressive company, we make sure that we provide venues that can help in enhancing their skills and sustaining their business, especially amid the digital shift,” said Paul Caluag, chief distribution officer of Santé.

Started in 2015, the Santé’s ABC is a highly-anticipated event among Santé entrepreneurs and, is part of the company’s Engage training series. This year, the event opened its doors for young entrepreneurs as it was also attended by Santé REVv leaders, who spearhead the program that pushes to empower the youth to become better business owners and to help them succeed in life through proper mentoring and training.
