ShippingEasy launches customer management solution. ShippingEasy, a provider of cloud-based solutions for ecommerce merchants, has launched a customer management solution that allows online sellers to design campaigns and foster relationships that lead to repeat purchases. The new solution provides campaign management tools with pre-loaded and customizable templates, list segmentation, open rates, and success tracking in real-time.
GoECart announces rebrand and name change to Pulse Commerce. GoECart, an ecommerce and inventory management platform for mid-market merchants, has unveiled its corporate rebranding. Going forward, the company will be called Pulse Commerce, reflecting its mission to level the omnichannel playing field for merchants. The company chose “Pulse Commerce” to reflect its role in delivering a real-time enterprise-wide perspective, or pulse, on a merchant’s commerce operations across all channels. The new name supports the company’s mission, which is to breathe more life into mid-market merchants’ abilities to compete with the world’s largest retailers.
Pulse Commerce partners with BigCommerce to simplify back-end operations for merchants. Pulse Commerce, formerly GoECart, has been named a BigCommerce Certified Technology Partner, providing BigCommerce customers access to Pulse Commerce’s enterprise order and inventory platform. BigCommerce’s customers can integrate Pulse Commerce’s order and inventory management service through the BigCommerce app marketplace. The order and inventory platform provides BigCommerce merchants with real-time visibility and control of inventory, orders, and customers across all sales channels, including B2B and B2C ecommerce storefronts, marketplaces, brick-and-mortar stores, contact centers, and mail order.
Oro introduces German version of OroCommerce. Oro, Inc., the company behind the OroCommerce global ecommerce platform created for B2B merchants, has announced that it has launched a version of its product for Germany’s ecommerce buyers and merchants.
Email service launches AI-powered personalized sending feature. SendPulse, an email campaign company, now uses artificial-intelligence machine learning to enhance personalized sending, with the goal of boosting open rates. The goal of SendPulse is to get emails into the inbox of recipients at the time that they check their emails. With the incorporation of its AI Machine Learning Technology, SendPulse will be able to automatically create segments and send emails in the most appropriate time and channel. SendPulse is free for less than 2,500 subscribers and less than 15,000 emails per month. Paid plans start at $9.85 per month.
Facebook introduces Developer Circles. Facebook has announced Developer Circles, a new program for developers worldwide to connect, learn, and collaborate. Developer Circles is free to join and open to any developer. Each Developer Circle is led by members of the local community, organizing events offline, and managing a local online Facebook community. Developer Circles are forums to share knowledge, collaborate, build new ideas, and learn about the latest technologies from Facebook and other industry leaders.
B2X partners launches website for distributors. B2X Partners, a digital agency focused on B2B ecommerce, has launched DigitalBranch.co, a website dedicated to supporting ecommerce success for independent distributors. The site includes DigitalBranch Incubator, an education and training portal. Incubator membership includes video training, monthly live webcasts and master classes, ecommerce platform reviews and summaries, all-access to a private Facebook community, weekly office hours and coaching, private content access, and early views into all new programming — all created by thought leaders and practitioners in the B2B ecommerce space.
TurnTo introduces open network for product ratings and reviews syndication. TurnTo Networks, a provider customer content solutions, has introduced an open network for syndication of product ratings and reviews between brands and online retailers. Through TurnTo’s Open Review Syndication, retailers can now import and display product reviews from any brand partner, regardless of the collection and management platform the brand uses.
Net Element’s PayOnline launches loyalty program for merchants. Net Element is a financial technology group that supports companies in accepting electronic payments in an omnichannel environment across point-of-sale, ecommerce, and mobile devices. Net Element has announced that its PayOnline subsidiary launched a loyalty program to its merchants, allowing PayOnline’s merchants to obtain special deals for important services.
Webgility offers enhanced integration with Xero. Webgility, a player in multichannel ecommerce automation software, has announced an enhanced integration with Xero, a cloud accounting software company. The integration (a) syncs financials, inventory, and shipping data with leading shipping apps, such as ShipStation and ShippingEasy, (b) tracks revenue across sales channels, and (c) records expenses and fees from marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay. New features allow sellers to better utilize the power of Xero’s built-in inventory capabilities by syncing price and quantity with online channels, and automatically building their inventory list in Xero from their sales channel data. With the new integration, sellers can monitor vendor purchase orders when using advanced inventory tools, such as Skubana or SkuVault.
Chargeback introduces WooCommerce plugin. Simplified dispute resolution is now available to WooCommerce-powered ecommerce stores. Chargeback has announced the release of a WordPress plugin to empower WooCommerce stores against increasing chargeback losses. Once combined with Stripe, Braintree, PayPal, Authorize.Net, or other gateways, the tool identifies and aggregates the information needed for a winning chargeback rebuttal.
