Was March a blur for you, too, or was that just us? Not only did companies across the globe scramble to shift their organizations to a remote work scenario, but those who had not previously invested much into their online presence are now focused on doing so. On top of that, highly anticipated WordPress 5.4 was released on March 31st. Yes, last month was a busy one for eCommerce, WordPress, and WebDevStudios (WDS). As such, April is gearing up to be a busy one for us, too, as our website expertise is in high demand. Here’s the latest company news from WDS.

Noteworthy Contribution

Custom Post Type UI Made the Finals!

Everyone’s favorite custom post type and taxonomies plugin, Custom Post Type UI (CPT UI), developed by WDS and available for download at our plugin shop, Pluginize, has qualified for the finals of the yearly bracket-style competition Plugin Madness, hosted by Torque.

WordPress Lahore Meetup

On April 4th, Director of Business Development, Jodie Riccelli, presented an online talk for the WordPress Lahore Meetup group where she spoke about “How to Sell WordPress as a Service.”

“I like to share my knowledge because it’s one way I can give back to the open-source community,” Jodie explains her interest in speaking and presenting. “But also, when I talk about it, I learn so much, as well.” You can watch the Q&A portion of her talk below.
