Last of the night for American Idol is Dennis Lorenzo who sang “Unaware” by Allen Stone. Dennis is from West Philadelphia. His dad was murdered when he was 5. Dennis, who is now 26-years-old and a father, said this big moment and the big chance at that golden ticket has him thinking a lot about his own mother, a singer who got him to join in a duet or two over the years.
Lionel Richie said he loved his delivery and attitude. He found the performance refreshing. Lionel said it is not the equipment that made this performance. Luke Bryan said you see kids come in with the nicest guitars bought by their parents. Luke noted that he signed up for this show because of this journey and American dreams. Luke is excited and fired up.
Katy Perry said they do not have to convince themselves that this sounds good. The judges sent Dennis off to Hollywood. What did you think of the American Idol audition? Let us know in the comments section.
