Ron Bultongez Gives Knockout Performance Of Robyn’s ‘Dancing On My Own’ For Top 24

On American Idol, Ron Bultongez capped off the night with a very strong and powerful cover of “Dancing On My Own” by Robyn for his Top 24 Solo performance in front of a live audience and Judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie on American Idol. Ron won over the judges.

Luke Bryan said he felt that performance. Luke loved Ron’s voice. Luke could feel some hurt but noted that his enunciation is not the most perfect in the world. Luke noted that fans want to feel that emotion that Ron can put out there. Luke called it the best that they have ever heard him.

Lionel Richie said Ron has come far in this competition. Lionel said a lot of people would have given up. Lionel said this is a business of struggle and how badly do you want it. Lionel said Ron is proving to us all that he wants it badly. Katy Perry said Ron has style and that he is so intelligent. Katy said you can feel it by his song choice and presentation.

Katy still feels some of his nerves and she hates that because he really belongs in this competition. Katy does not want to forget him but she would like to see him owning it.
