565 Guest Posts on Blogging Tips and What Is My Secret?

Are you starving to become a prolific blogger?

I can give you practical tips for writing a high volume of blog posts until you are blue in the face. But it won’t do you any good until you learn a few simple truths about publishing blog posts routinely, most of which are blogging mindset focused.

Today marks my 565th guest post on Blogging Tips. I pulled back big time the last 4 months but hopped back in about a week ago, writing and publishing a few more guesties.

If you dig more blog traffic, bigger blogging profits and most importantly, the opportunity to help more bloggers, keep these tips in mind.

1: Don’t Get Married to Outcomes

Most bloggers would be incredibly creative and prolific if they did not get married to outcomes.

Example; many bloggers publish a single blog post, pat themselves on the back, and keep checking stats (outcomes-driven) on that single post, wondering how they are doing, how they can change things, what they need to do to get more views and money, worrying or celebrating, being totally married to outcomes, vibing mainly from fear and scarcity.

Meanwhile, while most bloggers are checking stats and trying to squeeze as much as possible through a single blog post, I just wrote 10 more posts. I do not care largely what I get through these posts because I do not fear I’m wasting my time, or, that I am not getting a specific return on my creation. I guest post to give, so I keep on giving by writing new blog posts. Abundance mindset thing.

Write the next blog post guys. Don’t get married to outcomes. Fall in love with the process, not the outcomes of the process.

2: Become an Observer

How in the heck do I generate so many blog post ideas?

I am an observer of blogger problems on:

  • top blogs
  • top blog comment fields
  • the Warrior Forum
  • my blog comments (when I opened comments on Blogging From Paradise)

I also observe blogging problems via my email and social media profiles.

Each blogger problem is a blog post waiting to be written. Gobble up problems and provide solutions to these issues through your blog posts.

3: Wade into Your Fears

I did not write and publish 565 blog posts being firmly in my comfort zone for this stretch.

I had to wade into my fears sometimes. Even though I wasn’t heavily married to any outcomes I am human, so worried about, well, certain fears I had from time to time. My mantra; feel the fear and do it anyway.

I’d feel fears arise, embrace the energies, release the energies and write the freaking guest post.

Being prolific is not always a comfortable journey. Even if you have fun writing, sometimes you run into resistance and need to feel and release the fear to move forward. Comes with being a human being.

4: Focus on Quality over Quantity

If I rushed through writing and publishing my Blogging Tips guest posts from a fearful, desperate vibe, I’d have written and published over 1,000 blog posts.

Since I focused on quantity over quality I only published 565 guest posts on this blog.

Focusing on quality over quantity allows more blog post ideas to flow to you; energy thing. As more blog post ideas knock on the door of your mind just seize these thoughts and convert into blog posts.

5: Hold an Intent, Not a Goal

A few years ago, when Zac invited me to guest post on Blogging Tips I did not set a goal to write and publish 500 plus guest posts because that seemed impossible to me at the time.

Instead, I held an intent to help people with their blogging problems daily. Less intimidating and not nearly as daunting as the perceived big goal.

I helped folks through the guest posts I wrote here to the tune of one guestie almost every day for a year and become kinda prolific in the process.

Hold an intent versus setting goals. This detaches you from outcomes which removes much resistance from the process.

You Can Do it

Following these tips can help you become a prolific blogger.

Help more folks and see greater blogging success by deciding to create like a champion today.
