AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT Gigabyte, MSI and Asus Custom Cards Launching on 10th September @ Rs. 36,163

We covered the release date for third party Radeon RX 5700 XT cards by Gigabyte, MSI and ASUS, and now we have information on their pricing in India. The cards are currently up on Primeabgb and the Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT GAMING OC has a price tag of Rs. 36,163. The ASUS Radeon RX 5700 XT TUF is a lot more expensive (as expected) at Rs. 43,499. Both these cards sport triple fans meaning they will surely perform better than the underwhelming blower-style reference RX 5700 XT. Although the actual performance and cooling numbers will only be available once we get our hands on them, the Gigabyte version is definitely a viable option.

But, and there’s always a but, you can’t get them just yet. These cards won’t be available until the second week of September.

Comparing prices with the blower-style cards by ASUS, MSI and Sapphire, the custom cooler cards seem to be the obvious choice for anyone looking for a Radeon RX 5700 XT. The MSI Radeon RX 5700 XT blower style card is Rs. 37,999 while Sapphire and ASUS’s version of the reference design are priced at Rs. 36,049 and Rs. 36,617 respectively. The Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT GAMING OC offers the same boost clocks but with better cooling, better overclocking headroom at a very similar price.

On the green team, the GeForce RTX 2060 Super is also similarly priced in the 36-37K range but when it comes to performance, the 5700 XT leaves it in the dust. In our opinion, this makes the Gigabyte triple-fan card a no brainer over either of the three reference design cards or the 2060 Super. And, if you want even more performance, get the GeForce RTX 2070 Super priced in the same range as the ASUS TUF 5700 XT.
