At WebDevStudios (WDS), we don’t stop giving back, including our constant participation in Five for the Future. Whether it’s speaking at or organizing a WordCamp event, or participating in a number of open-source projects, our team is always working toward making the web a better place.
Tomorrow, Friday, August 2nd, is another day that we will be giving back to WordPress in order to improve the internet and empower the WordPress community. As a company, WDS is devoting our entire workday to Five for the Future. And if you are unaware of what this initiative is, please read Matt Mullenweg’s blog post on the purpose behind it.
As he states, five percent can add up to a lot. Add to that the talent behind our engineers, support technicians, project managers, business development team, and executives, and our contribution to this cause is that much more impactful.
How? Take a look at some of the ways our team has donated their time and efforts in the past months. Mind you, this is just a sampling of their contribution, but as you will see, it’s pretty impressive.
