They’re here finally. Apple’s next-generation smartphones and watch were unveiled yesterday in Steve Jobs Theater, Apple campus of the company’s headquarters. The latest development from Apple is the iPhone 11 series, an iWatch, a new chipset, a new iPad and Apple Arcade. Explaining all of ’em later, here’s the major gadget explained.
iPhone 11 series:
Consisting of three models, this series has a standard iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

With 6.1″ LCD, it’s powered by 3110mAh battery (18W). On the other hand, the Pro and Pro Max variants have 5.8″ and 6.5″ XDR OLED displays with 3190mAh and 3500mAh batteries. These batteries are Qi wireless charging supportive and can reverse charge too.
With 6GB RAM as standard, all these models have an onboard storage of 64GB to up to 512GB (only for Pro and Pro Max).
The imaging capabilities of all three were the same, except in count. The standard 11 has dual rear cameras of 12MP (f/1.8) + 12MP (f/2.4) with 12MP (f/2.2) front camera. Whereas the Pro and Pro Max has the same dual cameras with an additional 12MP (f/2.4) lens, making them triple setup. The upfront camera is 12MP (f/2.0) as usual.
All three will be running on Apple’s proprietary iOS 13 software and A13+ Bionic chipset. In the event, it’s even shown that the company’s A13+ chipset outperforming other premium chipsets like Snapdragon’s 855 and Kirin 980 SoCs in benchmark scores.
As usual, all these handsets are IP68 certified (splash/water resistant), has front and back glass protection with aluminium sides. With required connectivities like WiFi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, NFC (for Apple Pay), it has Dolby’s Digital Plus, Display, Atmos features. Has Face ID unlocking, USB 2.0 reversible connectivity, and Siri, of course.
Price and Availability:
– The standard iPhone 11 is available in several colors like Black, Blue, Red, Purple, White, Green and even Yellow!
And they’re priced as:
- 6GB/64GB is for Rs. 64,900
- 6GB/128GB is for Rs. 69,900
- 6GB/256GB is for Rs. 79,900
On the other hand, the premiums, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are Space Grey, Silver, Gold and Green. They’re priced as:

6GB/64GB is for Rs. 99,900
6GB/256GB is for Rs. 1,13,990
6GB/512GB is for 1,31,990.
– iPhone 11 Pro Max prices:
- 6GB/64GB is for Rs. 1,09,900
- 6GB/256GB is for Rs. 1,23,900
- 6GB/512GB is for 1,41,900.
All these will be available in India starting September 27th.
