Apple’s futuristic series ‘See’ premiered last Monday at the Regency Village Theater in California. It’s set to become one of the many content available when Apple TV+ goes live on November 1.
‘See’ stars Alfre Woodard and Jason Momoa and is created and written by Steven Knight. Francis Lawrence is the director of the show. It’s rumored that each episode costs $15 million. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the humans who survived have been rendered blind.
Jason Momoa of Game of Thrones fame is cast as Baba Voss, a warrior, guardian and leader, while Alfre Woodard of Desperate Housewives and Luke Cage plays the priestess and advisor Paris. Apple says that there were dozens of blind actors and visually impaired individuals who were recruited, and survival, blindness and biology experts as well.
The first 3 episodes of ‘See’ will become available on November 1, and new episodes are set to be released every week.
