Best Gaming Graphics Card for 1080p Gaming: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 6GB

The GeForce GTX 1660 is by far the best choice if you prefer buttery smooth 60 FPS at 1080p with no compromises in visual quality. Powered by the Turing architecture, this GPU makes AMD’s RX 580 obsolete by offering much better performance while costing notably less. It also draws much less power and runs relatively cooler. It renders most eSports titles at 100+ FPS at 1080p and is presently on sale at MDComputers for just 16K INR.

Best Budget DDR4 RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 4GBx2

The Intel chips, unlike their Ryzen counterparts, aren’t that sensitive to memory, so a dual-channel 2400MHzRAM from G.Skill should be sufficient. If you ever feel adventurous, you can overclock it up to 3000MHz and even higher (fingers crossed) for some extra frames.

Power Supply: Cooler Master MWE 450

Price: Rs. 2,450 (Link)

The Cooler Master MWE 450 should be sufficient for this build. The CPU is capped at 65W and the GTX 1660 wo exceed the 450W envelope even if overclocked, so don’t worry about being limited by the SMPS.

So, that’s about it. The total cost comes down to approximately 35K and you get a clean build with decent components that should be able to run most games at 1080p for the next couple of years. If you throw in a monitor, HDD and the peripherals, the total cost should come around 40-45K which again is a very reasonable price for a budget gaming PC. You can skimp on the image quality and brightness and go for a TN panel for as low as 6K, or you can payslightly more and opt for an IPC panel for a bit over 7,000 INR.

When it comes to the keyboard/mouse combo, you’ve got tons and tons of options, you can go plain and simple or if you like shiny things, snag a backlit gaming combo.
I’d suggest sticking to membrane keyboards as the mechanical ones cost well over 5K and aren’t quite worth it, given that your entire build budget is just over 40K.
