British Airways announced that they will be giving 15,000 cabin crew members the iPhone XR so they could provide personalized customer service.
The new iPhones will come with pre-loaded apps to help customers experience smoother flights. One of BA’s customers has already benefited from the move when Bradley Smith, an employee ordered a meal that the customer had forgotten, all within minutes after the plane took off. The addition of these mobiles has empowered BA employees to make quick and satisfactory solutions.
British Airways has outlined a £6.5B plan in which it will improve customer service over the next 5 years, which includes giving the crew access to the latest information by installing high-speed Wi-Fi on all its fleet.
