Seminar on Google
My Business listings

The Manatee Chamber of Commerce will hold a seminar on how local businesses can set up and claim their Google My Business listings from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chamber’s office at 222 10th St. W. in Bradenton.

Google is the leading search engine, with more than 67 percent of the market share. Knowing how to make the most of local listings will improve free search engine results, helping businesses stand out.

The workshop presented by Lisa Hodo of the Manatee Herald-Tribune/ThriveHive also will cover ways to get reviews from customers and why they’re important and the benefits of Google My Business to overall marketing and search-engine-optimization plans.

Businesses can register at www.ManateeChamber.com/Google or by calling Carey Miller at 941-748-4842, Ext. 113.
