Capable of towing up to 3000 pounds and powered by a HD10 Rotax engine generating 82 hp and 69 lb-ft of torque sent to all six wheels, the 2020 Can-Am Defender 6×6 DPS just might be the ultimate ATV. That’s right, no matter the terrain, all six 27″ tires can be driven simultaneously with four- or six-wheel-drive. The front wheels use upper and lower arched A-arms, while the rear axles utilize a double torsional trailing arm setup. Read more for two videos and additional information.

This isn’t just a noisy beast you drive around in the middle of nowhere, but rather a quiet ATV that is smoother than ever thanks to a thicker firewall, a revised low-sound exhaust system, and CVT tuning. For added protection, there’s a revamped rugged front steel bumper, while an upper bumper plate has been added to all models and the heavy-duty XT bumper has been strengthened as well as made five pounds lighter. New suspension calibration to vastly improve ride quality and arched a-arms come help with ground clearance.

The extra axle also means the Can-Am now has enough room to for a six-foot box bed that can carry up to 1,000 pounds, which means it’s great for constructions sites or just as a work vehicle.
