Innovation Nation is a new Brookline entity, formed in response to a growing appreciation for nurturing tech companies in Brookline. Adam Studdard, SailOne Solutions, and Anna Axenov, Retention Design, describe Innovation Nation as “a community focused on helping foster innovation in Brookline. We do that by bringing together creative and technology professionals to share their ideas and experiences.”
Anna, a tech marketing maven, and Adam, a website expert, will host a gathering of creative and tech business people on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m., at the Village Works. Interested people are invited. Participants “can be audience members, speakers, mentors to others, or event sponsors. They can also join our facebook “Brookline Innovation Nation.”
What inspires Anna and Adam to work in Brookline? They explain, “Brookline is a great place to live and work. You can find anything you need right here: co-working spaces, cafes, kid friendly activities and a great variety of local businesses, while still being close to Boston. Brookline is bike friendly and very progressive, and a great place to be a part of the fabric of the community.”
Deborah Bradley, Boston SEO Geeks, agrees. She adds, “Brookline has multiple vibrant neighborhoods that are great for holding meetings in, or simply taking a walk through when you need a break. The proximity to Boston makes it easy to connect with companies based downtown providing exponentially more opportunities.
