CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For those seeking career opportunities in digital marketing in 2019, Charlotte is among the best places to start the search.

That’s according to a report from Forbes magazine, which highlights five “unexpected” cities for the ever-changing field: “Digital marketing is on the rise across the world with advancements in data, technology, AI and analytics and with that comes new opportunities in different cities, besides just the obvious hubs like New York, L.A and San Francisco,” it says.
Forbes analyzed data from Mondo and Salary.com research to find those cities with the highest availability of digital marketing jobs and best opportunities going into the new year. The Queen City’s status as a hub for big banks and financial services helped vault it into that group.
In particular, the magazine notes that specialists in search-engine optimization as well as search-engine marketing managers are in high demand here.
And the average annual digital marketing salary? $96,487.
