Overview:
Are you a finance or tech journalist that’s tired of working contract-to-contract, or working for a publication that doesn’t give you a lot of liberties? We’re looking for you. We want a skilled writer that can create, manage and maintain the copy on our digital assets—everything from web pages to our company blog. Why are we looking for a journalist rather than an SEO expert? Because, as a journalist, you know how to ask the right questions. SEO is just as much an art as it is a science, and we’re looking for someone to create great thought leadership content by being able to get the right answers and the right content by asking the questions that our target market is asking.
This person will work closely with our brand and buzz team to create unified messaging and thought leadership pieces for our target audiences and verticals, which include finance professionals in the role of AP Managers, Controllers, and CFOs that work for companies primarily in Real Estate, the Non-Profit space and Construction. We will teach you the SEO basics that you need to become the boss of optimization. Once educated, you will develop on-page copy optimizations across pre-identified areas of opportunity, including duplicate content, H1 tags, meta descriptions, category pages, sub-category pages, and product description pages. This is an entry level position with a lot of opportunity to advance in a high-growth work environment with a lot of kooky and knowledgeable marketing professionals.

• Providing Keyword Research for New Products, Articles and Navigation.
Requirements:
• BA/BS in Marketing, Journalism, English or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 Years of Experience Writing for the Financial or Technology Space.
• Experience with a SEO is a plus, but ultimately, we are looking for a strong writer that is open to becoming SEO savvy to deliver content that is top-notch and top of the search engines.
