About the Role

We are looking for a skilled digital marketer with the ability to create and develop bespoke cross channel marketing strategies catered specifically to varying businesses/products/services. You will need to have an ability to recognise and curate engaging content and copy. And, most importantly you will need to have the technical knowledge and experience in implementation, management and reporting of these marketing strategies across each channel. You will be supported and mentored along the way, we’re a close knit team with varying backgrounds and value combining each members unique experiences/perspective to reach the best outcomes.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Strategically develop digital campaigns that drive growth from new and repeat customers
  • Managing performance metrics against budget and deadlines, while ensuring growth opportunities are capitalised.
  • Focus on buying and optimising search, display and video ads with Google Ads
  • Analyse performance of AdWords campaigns and identify additional opportunities
  • Implement and optimise Google Shopping Campaigns across a range of ecommerce stores both internally and externally. Structure campaigns to account for varying margins across businesses and product feeds.
  • Implement and optimise paid social campaigns across all social channels (Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, etc)
  • Communicate and engage with customers on their requests and account status
  • Develop and monitor a SEO strategy & execution (onsite & offsite)
  • Use major SEO tools to test design, layout and advertising techniques in order to gain the most organic traffic.
  • Identify any SEO issues and implement your recommended fixes
  • Provide ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation opportunities
  • Review and analyse client sites for areas that can be improved and optimised
  • Work with the copywriting freelancers to implement powerful on execution of SEO content strategy
  • Responsible for analysing, reviewing and implementing websites that executed with SEO in mind.
  • Design and manage Email Marketing Campaigns (EDM, drip & cold outbound, ecommerce transactional email campaigns), utilising varying platforms such as mailchimp, klaviyo and/or campaign monitor
  • Create, train and advise on Social Media strategy across various channels including Instagram, facebook, twitter and linkedIn
  • Provide reporting and insights on campaign performance, and forecast strategies across all accounts using data and insights from platforms such as Google Data Studio and Google Analytics
  • Provide feedback and insights to the wider team to improve product and business initiatives
  • Proactively explore innovative and new digital marketing opportunities
  • Have the ability to develop and update website content on various CMS and ecommerce platforms (WordPress, Magento, Bigcommerce and Shopify)
  • Liaise with external vendors (hosting companies and developers) for new site builds and implementing changes to maximise UX and lead generation
  • Have a no task is too ‘small’ attitude and always putting value add for our customers as the main priority. We are seeking a ‘doer’ that thrives in an environment of growth, and enjoys direct exposure to a wide range of tasks

About You

  • 2-3+ years experience of relevant marketing experience with a strong focus on SEM
  • Extensive experience using Google Ads, Google Analytics and Google Merchant Centre
  • Extensive Experience with Facebook Business Manager and Ads Manager
  • Google Adwords and Google Analytics certified preferred
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Proficient with analytics and data analysis platforms including Google Data Studio and Google Analytics
  • Must have strong attention to detail, analytical, process driven and results driven
  • Knowledge and experience with SEO activities, techniques and platforms, this includes but not limited to; on page, off page, keyword research, content gap analysis, robots.txt, sitemap, google search console management, etc
  • Experience using key SEO tools (Ahrefs, POP, Screaming Frog, etc)
  • Proven track-record in SEO, Content & Email marketing
  • “Rolls up Sleeve” attitude with strong problem-solving skills
  • A creative thinker with pragmatic attitude to solving problems and creating growth for customers
  • Strong communication skills with customer facing experience
  • Extremely result driven and focused, wanting to over achieve
  • Analytical and Data-driven, using data to understand what’s working, what’s not and what to do next
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks (we’re a startup after all)
  • Strong, practical CMS and ecommerce experience (WordPress, Bigcommerce, Magento and Shopify)
  • Analytical, data-driven, and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic understanding of HTML, XML and JavaScript
  • eCommerce experience and/or Retail experience a bonus
  • Agile and able to adapt quickly, to evolving technologies and operating in a growing business
  • Ability to build effective and long term relationships across all levels of internal and external organisations
  • Confident in up-selling and retaining clients
  • Leadership skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
