Overview

This roundtable discussion will give attendees the chance to discuss the key challenges, threats, opportunities and success stories around ecommerce and user experience. It will provide an opportunity to learn from industry peers, with the aim of providing inspiration for your own UX efforts.

We encourage attendees to come equipped with topics that they would like to address on the day. Suggested topics include:

  • The value and scope of UX as part of the entire customer experience.
  • The role of UX on conversions and lifetime customer value.
  • How UX professionals need to educate the C-Suite to understand the value of human-centred design. Is there sponsorship at the right level? How to get sponsorship?
  • The role of data – Martech vendors and ecommerce retailers are doing more to integrate online and offline data points to measure the entire customer journey. Is this changing your approach to targeting and measurement?
  • The role of AI in UX. From bot interfaces to voice interfaces. How is AI being utilised? Are there different UX principles that need to be followed for bot and voice interfaces?
  • Approaches to user research and testing: What is best practice? How to test voice and bot interfaces? How to design voice interfaces?
  • Who is getting it right? From content to delivery.”
