Elago’s AW3 AirPods Case is modeled after the original line of Apple Macintosh computers, and is compatible with both generations of the wireless earphones. When using with the second-generation AirPods, the front LED remains visible and the case retains its wireless charging support. It’s made of flexible, impact-resistant silicone material, while an added layer prevents scratches and buffs up protection from external impacts to the case. Product page. There’s even a special anti-slip coating inside the cap, and requires you to push it down completely before adjusting the case for a perfect fit. No hinge point at the back means super easy installation and removal, all the while allowing for easy wireless charging.

On a side note, the Macintosh 128K, which this case is modeled after, was originally released as the Apple Macintosh in 1984. Its beige case featured a 9-inch CRT monitor and came with a keyboard as well as a computer mouse. There’s a handle built onto the top of the case that made it easier for the computer to be lifted and carried. It had an initial selling price of $2,495 (equivalent to $6,165 in 2019). Despite its high price tag, sales of the Macintosh were surprisingly strong and hit 70,000 units sold by May 3, 1984.
