LG’s C9 series 4K OLED TVs are among the most advanced smart TVS commercially available. They come loaded with tons of features, and naturally they also carry rather high price tags. For a limited time PCMag is offering the 55-inch and 65-inch models of LG’s C9 smart TVs for just $1,349.99 and $1,949.99 respectively with promo code SAVE300.
LG designed all of its C9 series smart TVs with large 4K OLED display panels, which offer superior image quality compared to traditional LCD panels. With OLED panels, each individual pixel is its own LED that can be adjusted or turned on and off independently of the rest of the display. This makes light bleeding a thing of the past, and it also allows the TV to create rich dark and black colors on screen. These TVs also support HDR technology to further improve color accuracy and make everything seem all that much more realistic.
These TVs also come equipped with LG’s Alpha 9 Gen 2 intelligent processor. This chip works to upscale content to 4K, and it also runs the TV’s comprehensive software package that allows you to stream content from numerous sources. Google’s Chromecast technology comes built into these TVs as well, which makes it quick and easy to stream content directly from your smartphone or PC.
Last but not least I should also mention that this TV has a superb 2.2 channel 40W stereo system. Each speaker has a built-in woofer to create rich deep base notes, and the system has support for Dolby Atmos.
The larger 65-inch OLED65C9PUA TV model typically retails for $3,499.99, but it’s currently marked down to $2,249.00. The smaller 55-inch OLED55C9PUA TV is similarly discounted from $2,499.99 to $1,749.00. Using promo code SAVE300 at checkout further drops the price of these TVs by another $300, which leaves them at $1,949.99 and $1,349.99 respectively. This sale is set to end on the night of Sunday October 13.
