FirstLight Home Care Recognized for Website Design


CINCINNATI (September 20, 2017)—The franchise industry publication, 1851 Franchise, recognized FirstLight Home Care, a national provider of non-medical homecare, with a Franchise Development Website Award.

Industry experts evaluated more than 200 franchise brand websites. Seventy-five were recognized as best-in-class, with FirstLight being ranked at number 48.

“We see our franchise development website as an integral part of our franchise sales efforts,” said Jeff Bevis, CEO of FirstLight Home Care. “In an age where there is so much irrelevant information out there, we want to make it easy for potential franchise owners to do research about FirstLight online, and to find answers to pertinent questions before investing in the business. It is also important for us to highlight our existing franchisees as well as their experience and satisfaction with FirstLight as a brand.”

The 2017 Franchise Development Website Awards were judged based on a ten-point scale. The design of each website was at the forefront of the evaluation, with sites being judged on content, ease of use, user experience, site performance and search engine optimization, among other things. Each category was evaluated by a panel of 12 judges, with the rankings based on the composite average of the scores.

Other prestigious awards that FirstLight recently received include a ranking on Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 list for the third year in a row, a ranking on Entrepreneur’s 2017 Franchise 500 list, and various Franchise Business Review rankings which include Top Low-Cost Franchise, Top Franchise for Veterans and Top Franchise for Women.
