Is it us, or is this year flying by quickly? Seems like just a few weeks ago, we dedicated a full workday to the WordPress initiative Five for the Future (#5ftf). Oh, wait. That literally was a few weeks ago.
Well, here we are again, about to do the same exact thing this Friday, October 19th. For us, the team behind the WebDevStudios (WDS) brand and family of companies, it is an honor and privilege to contribute. And, mostly, we’re just really grateful to work for a company that encourages and supports the concept of giving back to the WordPress community.
Below is a recap of our September #5ftf contributions. As always, you’re welcome to join us; read this blog post for ideas on participating. To learn how we contributed in August, read this wrap-up.
Keep up with this Friday’s activity by following WDS on Twitter and the hashtag #5ftf. It’s always a lively conversation. Please feel free to add to it.

Back in 2014, @photomatt suggested that WordPress companies should dedicate 5% of their people’s time toward the WordPress project. I’m lucky enough to work at a company that let’s us do just that. Happy #5FTF day, and thanks @webdevstudios https://t.co/eAmYA2yoL4

My second #5ftf. @webdevstudios follows @photomatt‘s suggestion of giving back to the community. Very few companies are this dedicated to it. Proud to be a part of @webdevstudios.

Participating in my first #5ftf with @webdevstudios, I polished up my FB Dynamic Ads for Real Estate plugin and closed 3 issues. The ultimate goal is to make it work with other real estate listing plugins.
