Gionee Revives By Launching F9 Plus In India. Reveals A Subbrand Named “GBuddy”


It’s been seven long months since Gionee has a product in India. Commonly failing to deep pricing competition and CEO allegations, Gionee finally revives with a new budgetary smartphone in the Indian subcontinent.

Gionee F9 Plus:

Though few details are revealed, they’re adequate to make a choice. Major things like display, storage, cameras, and battery were unveiled with chipset’s brand being unknown.

F9 Plus sports a 6.26″ (1520×720) HD+ display with a dew-drop notch and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Run by an unknown octa-core chipset, it’s said to be having a clock speed of 1.65GHz. It shall have Gionee’s bloatware over the Android’s 9 Pie and has storage options of 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM with an option for expanding the storage upto 256GB via MicroSD.

With a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, it has a dual rear camera of 13MP and 2MP. Upfront, there’s a 13MP camera too.

Has a 4050mAh battery and all the required connectivities like WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, 4G, etc.

Besides, Gionee has also launched a new subbrand named GBuddy and having in it is the portfolio of gadgets like wireless headphones, earphones, wireless neckbands, and power banks.

Price and Availability:

With a price tag of Rs.7,690, it will be coming in the color of Blue and be sold via major online platforms and through its offline channels. It has got thousands of retail partners across India.
