This week I am testing out a new camera, not sure if I will use it for this format but I will for the new vlog. Google finished rolling out the June 2019 core update on June 8th, this past Saturday. Google will likely pre-announce future core updates they said. Google explained why they can’t tell you what to fix for these core updates but then drops more hints at what you can fix. Google launched a new icon based search bar for desktop search. Google once said their search algorithm has a lot of trail and error built into it. Google’s mobile first indexing goes by root domain, so your sub-domains move over with it. Many are seeing traffic losses after implementing FAQ schema. Google Search Console goes 90-days of data for the search bar. Google Search Console errors are spiking and Google My Business suspensions over virtual offices also are spiking. Bing released a new batch method of submitting URLs through the API. Google is working with WordPress to build in XML Sitemaps to its core. Google said you might be able to use tag manager for your SEO. Google is testing a full coverage button for top stories. Google posted a video on SEO around web performance and usability. Google local pack is testing a choose area feature. Google has some funny comments in their developer docs. Google launched their own Webmaster Conference series. Make sure to submit your information to be part of my new vlog, where I interview you about your SEO and SEM thoughts. That was this past week in search at the Search Engine Roundtable.
