Google’s new Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones are set to launch on October 21, but if you are eager to try out Google’s new flagship smartphone you can pre-order it now and get it on launch day. If you pre-order, you can also take advantage of a special offer to save up to $800 on one of these new phones.
Google’s new Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones come equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 SoC that features eight fast CPU cores and Qualcomm’s powerful Adreno 640 graphics processor. Google also tossed an extra 2GB of RAM into the Pixel 4 smartphones, and all together they should have a sizable performance bump over their predecessors. Currently, Verizon is offering the best deal on the Google Pixel 4. The company is offering those that pre-order two Google Pixel 4 phones an $800 discount on the second phone. If you are just buying the base model Google Pixel 4, this essentially means you are getting the second phone for free, whereas the more expensive Pixel 4 XL will be reduced to just $100. You can also receive a $200 prepaid Mastercard when you add one of these new lines on a Verizon Unlimited plan. Sprint is also offering a similar buy-one-get-one $800-off offer, but just if you lease the first Google Pixel 4 device.
While Verizon’s offer is the best you will get if you are buying two phones, T-Mobile is the best deal to be had on the purchase of a single Pixel 4. If you own a Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, or Pixel 3 XL that is in good condition, then you can trade it in to get a Pixel 4 with up to an $800 discount, i.e. free. This offer is exclusively available to new customers that are switching to T-Mobile from another carrier though.
AT&T is offering a similar deal as T-Mobile, and AT&T is accepting a wider range of phones from various makers including Apple, Samsung, and LG. AT&T won’t give you a Pixel 4 for free, but it will give you a $700 discount. To qualify for this deal you also much pay for the phone on an installment plan and add it to an AT&T unlimited phone plan.
All of these offers from the various mobile service providers are rather complicated, but they do offer the biggest discounts if you want to go through the trouble. If you don’t feel like jumping through hoops, however, you can simply pre-order the Google Pixel 4 or Pixel 4 XL from Amazon, Google or B&H Photo Video and receive a $100 gift card to help with a future purchase. This may not save you anything on the phone itself, but it’s better than nothing and at least it’s easy.
The Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are set to launch on October 21, which gives you just under a week to take advantage of these pre-order offers if you want to save on your next Google smartphone.
