Global Expedition Vehicles’ Safari Extreme is basically a luxurious, solar-powered home on wheels. With a base price of $425,000, it’s not for most, but anyone that can afford this will most certainly appreciate its amenities. Measuring 15′ 8″ (length) , 96″ (width), 84″ (height), this behemoth features a 4-point connection between the body and chassis with two structural isolation bearing points and two pivot points to allow the truck frame to flex to its maximum position while isolating the dynamic force from the expedition body. Inside, there’s a kitchen with custom handcrafted wood veneer cabinetry, granite countertops, a stainless-steel bowl sink, and an induction cooktop as well as a large dining area, which doubles as office space should you need to get some work done on-the-go. After a long day, you’ll be able to sleep comfortably in a queen-sized bed after washing up in the full bathroom, complete with toilet and shower.
To ensure you’re always powered up, it comes equipped with 600w in three high effeciency 200w PV solar modules and an Onan QD 3200 Quiet Diesel generator. Other features include a 135 gallon fresh water supply, 14,000 BTU low profile air conditioner, 280 gallon fuel tank, BlackVue HD cloud-based dashcam, RedPort Halo long range WiFi extender, and a Winegard T4 in-motion satellite.
