Hitwise recently lost their primary data provider after Jumpshot closed.
Hitwise was purchased for $51million in 2015.
Today they sent this email:
Dear Hitwise Customer,
Following on from communication sent on 6th February 2020 relating to data delivery issues, it is with great sadness that Hitwise will be ceasing business of its UK operations. We worked through all options for this not to be the case, but events outside of our control have rendered us unable to continue to provide services.
You will have continued access to the Hitwise platforms for 30 days (until March 2020) for historical data for the period up to 28th January 2020. For those who have pre-paid services where they have not yet been rendered, we will be in touch in due course to arrange reimbursement.
