3 Key Points:

Be a creative maniac. Work yourself up into a motivated, energised and productive creative person. Think about your business and your strategy in terms of the energy you put into it. Figure out at every point in the journey that you’re taking how you can maintain high levels of energy for your creative works.

Build up a newsletter. Email is not dead. It’s still very powerful. It’s still the number one, for most people, promotional tool available to all kinds of business creatives. It still brings and attracts people to you [your creative works] and keep them hooked to you [your creative works] overtime. The newsletter is a central hub that allows all kinds of people to come together as one and follow you – combining the newsletter with all the marketing channels that you can use to build that newsletter.

Perform one-to-one networking. This is about one to one connection. This is about developing real friendships, real relationships with individuals. The value you get is unparalleled. You’re nurturing real human connections and that can have a powerful effect when you stick with it, when you’re consistent with it.
