I-Cubed Showcase, Sep 6th, TU Dublin Hothouse, Greenway Hub, Grangegorman, TU Dublin

When is it on?

Date: Sep 6th 10.30 am

Location: TU Dublin Hothouse, Greenway Hub, Grangegorman, TU Dublin.

How many years has it been going?

This is the fourth year for I-Cubed.

What was the inspiration to start it?

Many students applied to New Frontiers (our Enterprise Ireland funded start up programme) and their quality and talent was clear for all to see but with limited places and up against industry experts in their field it was a challenge for them to make the cut. This lead to the inspiration to create an entrepreneur development programme dedicated to students.

What exciting things can people look forward to?

There will be six excellent five minutes pitches, with each pitch followed by some grueling Q&A from our esteemed panel of judges.

The judges will then determine the TU Dublin Hothouse Student Start-Up Award 2019.

What opportunities are on offer for those attending?

For all in attendance, there’s an opportunity to be entertained, intrigued and surprised by six diverse early stage startups. It’s also a chance to engage with attendees from the Irish investment community including the  Local Enterprise Office, Enterprise Ireland and a number of VC’s.

What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?

Arrive early and stay late.

Keep note of the twitter hashtag #TUDublinHothouse before, during and after the event.

How can people book tickets / when does it usually sell out?

This is an invite only event, however if you wish to request an invite, please email [email protected]
