I’ve got to admit that I’ve never been a fan of the Big Mac — I don’t like the “secret” sauce (what exactly is the secret?), and pickles aren’t my thing either. I suspect there are other people who feel the same way I do.
But McDonald’s just made an announcement that may change all that.
In honor of the company’s three different sized Big Mac burgers (the regular Big Mac, along with the supersized Grand Big Mac and the shrimpy Mac Jr.), McDonald’s just announced a contest to win your very own Bling Mac — “a gratuitously diamond-encrusted prize for the fan who tweets the best, most creative vows of Big Mac burger love to @McDonalds in the #BlingMacContest!” worth $12,500. Wow!

I thought this was an April Fool’s joke until I checked the calendar and realized it’s not April 1st yet.
