Incubator Hosting Web Workshop | News, Sports, Jobs



DUNKIRK — The Fredonia Technology Incubator continues its Entrepreneurial Education Program with a free 90-minute workshop on the basics of effective web design — building an aesthetic, user friendly and engaging website.

The workshop will discuss in-depth on how to choose goals for your website, create content for your audience, designing a mobile-friendly design and understanding search engine optimization. The workshop will be conducted by the Buffalo Niagara Chapter of SCORE.

The workshop will be held Tuesday, September 17 from 9am to 10:30 at the Fredonia Technology Incubator located at 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk, NY, 14048. This event is free and open to the public. The workshop instructor is business owner Lisa Churakos, who has career experience in many fields such as consulting, research and business services, manufacturing and mining, nonprofit, public and professional organization, restaurants and hospitality, technology and web-based services, and transportation and Warehousing. She is also a certified SCORE mentor.
