Is It Blogging Passion or Wild Excitement?

I read a post from my friend Enstine Muki.

He mentioned recently how he invested only a little over $100 on 4 years of premium hosting from a reputable, trusted company via a Black Friday offer.

Imagine that?

I pay nearly $20 a month to use an awesome service. But paying 5 times that for 4 years is bananas.

Why?

Enstine learned a secret that highly successful bloggers all learn and put into action: if you commit long term to blogging, you will see immense value through your commitment, and savings will pile up, short term and long term.

Most premium hosting packages with reputable companies run anywhere from $10 to $20 a month or more. At the end of one year, committing to blogging and hosting 1 month at a time, you spend anywhere from $120 to $240 USD. Not bad but if you can pay $103 for 4 full years of premium hosting, you see hundreds of dollars worth of savings, plus, you invest in value, receiving premium hosting.

Newbie Bloggers Rarely Have this Mindset

Newbie bloggers often use free blogging platforms to give blogging a try. At least they won’t waste money, if they fail, they think.

Loser mindset. You lose time, energy and any possible blogging success momentum by not committing to blogging from day 1 because you are virtually guaranteed to fail blogging as a newbie blogger using a free platform.

Since you fear investing money in your blog because you fear committing to blogging, since you fear failure, you make an expensive decision. Either you fail horribly with a free platform, losing the opportunity to make money, or you pay for hosting on a month to month basis, getting a premium service, but investing more money now because you are afraid to commit to blogging for 12, 24, 36 or 48 months.

Enstine committed 48 months from now to blogging. He received premium hosting, an incredibly valued service, for 100 dollars. Massive value, massive savings. All because he chose to be ALL IN with blogging.

I have spent thousands of dollars on my blog over the past decade.

Take a look here:

Blogging From Paradise

I committed to my blog for years.

See me at Mount Cook in New Zealand? This may be the most beautiful, dramatic, stunning mountain range on earth. I retired to a life of island hopping through smart blogging. What massive value! Plus I’ve saved money by committing fully to my blog. If I committed to blogging 1 month at a time, I’d have spent thousands of dollars more, missing out on the premium, pro-rated packages available to committed bloggers.

Looking at my professional, bespoke theme, lightning fast load time, ample content, eBooks, courses and audio books, can you see why my *years forward* commitment to blogging helped me make more money, save more money and receive massive value in the form of my blogging investments?

I did not dive into blogging on a free platform, giving blogging a shot for a month or 2, then quitting after my lame effort resulted in failure.

Blogging gives you what you give blogging.

Investing time, money and energy into blogging for the next 3-5 years of your life will result in your blogging success.

Not investing time, money or energy into blogging for a few months guarantees your blogging failure.

Plus you save money, make more money and receive massive value in the form of tools, hosting and training, let alone value in the form of a freeing pro blogger lifestyle, if you commit to blogging for 3 or more years of your life.

Guys; if you plan to be around for the next 3 years anyway, why NOT commit 100% to blogging?

Do it right by taking a long term, patient and persistent approach to this fun, freeing and helpful medium.

As much as I enjoy circling the globe as a pro blogger I equally love the fun, fulfilling feeling I experience by helping bloggers succeed.

Be fully committed to blogging for years.

Succeed by doing blogging right.
