In the last performance, Janice Freeman sung “Fall For You” by Leela James on The Voice playoffs. Miley Cyrus said her voice is a reflection of who Janice is. Miley wants Janice to have fans at home so that there are more girls like Janice.
Adam Levine said that he has never seen an actual air shift. Adam noted an invisible gear box for Janice’s voice. Jennifer Hudson said that she felt everything Janice sung. Jennifer said that there is no reason for Janice not to continue in this competition.
What did you think of the performance on The Voice? Let us know in the comments section.
When Janice was 21 years old, her daughter, Hannah, was born. A few years later, when her daughter was only four, Hannah’s father passed away from cancer. It was really tough being a single mom, but it taught her how to be strong. Janice needed the strength because in 2012 she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She fought it and survived. In the midst of all the tragedy, she met her wonderfully supportive husband. They have been married for two years, and he even gigs locally with her and her band. Having gone through so much, she is so thankful to be cancer-free and happily married, but needs this shot at a music career to provide stability for Hannah.

“The Voice,” which has won four Emmys for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program, returns with the strongest vocalists from across the country invited to compete in the blockbuster vocal competition show’s new season.
Superstar singer, songwriter, actress and pop-culture icon Miley Cyrus returns as a coach this season with Oscar, Grammy, Golden Globe-winning recording artist and Broadway star Jennifer Hudson taking a red chair alongside the show’s returning coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton and host Carson Daly. The show’s innovative format features five stages of competition: the first begins with the blind auditions, then the battle rounds, knockouts, playoffs and, finally, the live performance shows.
In the playoff rounds, the “Coach Comeback” format twist returns as each coach will be allowed to bring back one team member previously eliminated from the competition during the knockout rounds. The Top 24 artists will compete to secure a spot in the live shows. Artists will perform and the coaches will then select three of their six artists to complete their roster and move on to the final phase of the competition – the live shows.
