Kelly Clarkson Sings ‘Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)’ On Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve

Kelly Clarkson came out again on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve to sing “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”. She delivered another great performance that was well-received on social media. Many took note that Clarkson continued to showcase her strong vocals over other performances given by Britney Spears and Mariah Carey.

Previously in the night, Clarkson kicked off the night by beautifully singing “Love So Soft” that had everyone singing along and rocking out along with her. Kelly looked glamorous in a glittery dress that was just stunning. While there will be many amazing moments during the evening’s festivities, Kelly’s segment of the show will be a real standout.

Clarkson recently released her highly-anticipated eighth studio album, Meaning of Life. It marked her first-ever release with Atlantic Records, after parting with RCA Records in 2016. She said in an interview about her transition to a different record label, “What’s cool about Atlantic Records is that they love every part of my personality, as far as all the colors of my voice. They are down to really make whatever record I’m into, which is real rare. So, I’m super excited about it.” The star has dropped two singles from her album so far, “Love So Soft” and “Move You.”

Here are some reactions to Clarkson’s performance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

Clarkson hopes for a much more positive 2018, sharing, “It’s gonna be a really great year, and hopefully all this drama that’s been happening in 2017 will make for a positive 2018.”

Clarkson recently went on The Voice to perform her new single “Medicine.” Taking the stage, the soon-to-be coach belted out her new, catchy song that’s sure to be the next song we have stuck in our heads in 2018. Clarkson will be a coach on the next season of The Voice on NBC.
