Goo Won and Kim Seul Gi are in talks to join Oh Yeon Seo and Ahn Jae Hyun for MBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “People with Flaws” (literal title)!
According to a source from MBC on June 12, “Actors Goo Won and Kim Seul Gi are positively reviewing their casting offers for ‘People with Flaws.’”
“People with Flaws” is a romantic comedy that will tell the story about a woman who despises flower boys and a man who is obsessed with looks as they overcome prejudice against people with flaws. Previously, Oh Yeon Seo and Ahn Jae Hyun were confirmed as the main leads.
Oh Yeon Seo will be taking on the role of Joo Seo Yeon, a high school track coach whose ideal type is a guy who is not good looking. Ahn Jae Hyun will play Lee Kang Woo, a man who became obsessed with how he looks on the outside after getting dumped for being ugly in the past.
Currently, Goo Won is in talks for the role of Lee Min Hyuk, Lee Kang Woo’s cousin. With flawless looks that would shine on the runway, Lee Min Hyuk also has the brains to attend med school.
Previously, Goo Won took on the role of the second generation chaebol Sung Ki Joon who committed all sorts of wicked acts without feeling any sense of remorse in “Legal High.” He left a strong impression on the viewers with his diverse showcase of expressions.
Meanwhile, Kim Seul Gi is in talks for the role of Kim Mi Kyung, Joo Seo Yeon’s friend and coworker who teaches Korean. Kim Mi Kyung is a character who is firm with her personal standards, and her personality prevents her from acting sly like a fox.
“People with Flaws” is set to premiere sometime in November and is currently in the midst of considering a title change.
