Alyssa Gay Consulting owner & founder, Alyssa Gay, contacted the Green Turtle Club, as the organization started assessing damages and worked on a plan to move forward with relief efforts for Green Turtle Cay. The Green Turtle Club has an established 501c3, The Green Turtle Cay Foundation, along with a GoFundMe which is going to be used for relief supplies specifically for the residents of Green Turtle Cay. All donations to the Foundation are tax deductible.

“Green Turtle Cay is a place that holds great significance for my husband, Taylor, and I. Just a few days prior to Hurricane Dorian, we were on that very Island, celebrating with people we have grown to know and cherish,” said Alyssa Gay of Alyssa Gay Consulting. “The devastation is heartbreaking, and we knew we needed to find a way to help. This island is suffering great loss, including loss of power with hardly any reliable methods of communication, and we decided to find a way to have an impact by utilizing friends, partners, and businesses in our community.”

Donated items will be delivered to the Avid Warehouse in West Palm Beach on Saturday, September 14, 2019. Donations can be made directly through the Green Turtle Cay Foundation website, and supporters can also purchase a limited edition Reef+Ledge hoodie featuring the #BahamasStrong tagline, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Green Turtle Cay Foundation. For those unable to visit the drop-off locations, items can be purchased online and sent to Avid Warehouse, located at 7656 Byron Dr, #B12, West Palm Beach, FL 33404.
