Taylor Swift, koalas, and flesh-eaters come together for Little Monsters, Hulu’s new movie where a teacher (Lupita Nyong’o) must protect her kiddos from a zombie outbreak.
Hulu dropped a hilarious red-band trailer for the film today and it pokes fun at zombie TV series like The Walking Dead and Z Nation. When Nyong’o and her students are having a fun day at a petting zoo, their field trip turns into a deadly ordeal when the undead invade their area.
With the help of a cheesy host (Josh Gad) and another goofy park employee (Alexander England), Nyong’o and her squad have to get out of the park safely without becoming zombie meals.
If you can handle the strong language, blood, and an adorable jam session to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off,” Little Monsters may be a good binge-watch for your next flight, day off, or movie night.
Little Monsters will have a limited theatrical run at select movie theaters on October 8 and it will arrive on Hulu on October 11.
